## What's an Apify Actor?

Actors are web data automations that power AI and operations. They run on the Apify platform to scrape websites, process data, connect APIs, and automate workflows.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.
Actors are written with capital "A".

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.
The best way to integrate Actors is as follows.

- **AI agents and MCP clients** — the [Apify MCP server](https://docs.apify.com/integrations/mcp.md) at `https://mcp.apify.com` (remote, streamable HTTP, OAuth on first use).
- **Agentic workflows and local Actor development** — [Agent Skills](https://apify.com/.well-known/agent-skills/index.json) with the [Apify CLI](https://docs.apify.com/cli/docs.md): `npm install -g apify-cli`, then `apify login`.
- **JavaScript/TypeScript projects** — the official [JS/TS client](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md): `npm install apify-client`.
- **Python projects** — the official [Python client](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md): `pip install apify-client`.
- **Any other language** — the [REST API](https://docs.apify.com/api/v2.md).

For usage examples, see the [API](#api) section below.

## Norway Fresh Company Leads — New Registrations 🇳🇴

Get **newly-registered Norwegian companies every day**, enriched and CRM-ready —
straight from the official **BRREG** register (Enhetsregisteret). No API key.

This Actor turns Norway's central register of legal entities into a clean,
deduplicated lead feed of fresh registrations, each enriched with its **NACE
industry, board members and managing director, address, employee count and
status**. Filter by **legal form** and **industry**.

Built for B2B teams selling into the Nordic market who want to reach a company
in its first weeks.

### Why this over a raw scraper

BRREG is fully open, so this Actor uses the official API directly (no scraping,
no key) and **joins each company to its roles register** — so every lead already
carries the **managing director / board by name**. It **deduplicates by org
number** and is **delta-native** — schedule it daily and each run returns only
what's new.

### Input

| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| `lastNDays` | Look-back window in days (default 7). Use `1`–`2` for a daily schedule. |
| `fromDate` | `YYYY-MM-DD`; overrides the window. |
| `orgForms` | Legal-form codes, e.g. `AS` (limited company), `ASA`, `ENK` (sole proprietorship). Empty = all. Use `AS` for B2B. |
| `naeringPrefixes` | NACE industry prefixes, e.g. `62` (IT), `41` (construction). Empty = all. |
| `includeRoles` | Fetch board / managing director by name (default on). |
| `maxResults` | Max companies per run (default 200). |

#### Example — new Norwegian tech companies this week

```json
{
    "lastNDays": 7,
    "orgForms": ["AS"],
    "naeringPrefixes": ["62"],
    "maxResults": 300
}
```

### Output

One row per company (flat JSON / CSV / Excel):

```json
{
    "organisasjonsnummer": "938046859",
    "navn": "AIUTO TECH AS",
    "organisasjonsform": "AS",
    "naeringskode": "62.100",
    "naering_tekst": "…",
    "registrert_dato": "2026-07-06",
    "stiftelsesdato": "…",
    "antall_ansatte": null,
    "konkurs": false,
    "adresse": "…",
    "kommune": "…",
    "hjemmeside": "…",
    "roller": [{ "navn": "…", "rolle": "Daglig leder" }]
}
```

### Scheduling a daily feed

Schedule daily with `lastNDays: 2` (a small overlap absorbs registration lag;
rows are deduplicated by org number within each run). Push straight to your CRM,
a Google Sheet, or a webhook.

### Data source & legality

- **BRREG Enhetsregisteret** — the official Norwegian register of legal entities,
  free open data, no login or API key. Roles register is public.

This is an **informational lead feed**, not a compliance certification.

# Actor input Schema

## `lastNDays` (type: `integer`):

Include companies registered in the last N days. Ignored if 'Registered from' is set. For a daily schedule, use 1-2.

## `fromDate` (type: `string`):

Only companies registered on/after this date. Overrides the look-back window.

## `orgForms` (type: `array`):

BRREG organisation-form codes to include, e.g. AS (limited company), ASA (public limited), ENK (sole proprietorship), ANS/DA (partnership). Empty = all forms. Use AS for B2B prospecting.

## `naeringPrefixes` (type: `array`):

Keep only companies whose NACE code starts with one of these, e.g. 62 (IT), 41 (construction). Empty = all industries.

## `includeRoles` (type: `boolean`):

Fetch each company's board members and managing director by name from the roles register. Adds one API call per company.

## `maxResults` (type: `integer`):

Maximum number of company rows to return per run.
