## What's an Apify Actor?

Actors are web data automations that power AI and operations. They run on the Apify platform to scrape websites, process data, connect APIs, and automate workflows.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.
Actors are written with capital "A".

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.
The best way to integrate Actors is as follows.

- **AI agents and MCP clients** — the [Apify MCP server](https://docs.apify.com/integrations/mcp.md) at `https://mcp.apify.com` (remote, streamable HTTP, OAuth on first use).
- **Agentic workflows and local Actor development** — [Agent Skills](https://apify.com/.well-known/agent-skills/index.json) with the [Apify CLI](https://docs.apify.com/cli/docs.md): `npm install -g apify-cli`, then `apify login`.
- **JavaScript/TypeScript projects** — the official [JS/TS client](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md): `npm install apify-client`.
- **Python projects** — the official [Python client](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md): `pip install apify-client`.
- **Any other language** — the [REST API](https://docs.apify.com/api/v2.md).

For usage examples, see the [API](#api) section below.

# README

## Master Company Mapper — Global Identity, IDs & Group Structure

Resolve any company name/alias into its **current official registered name + CIN/LLPIN/FCRN/LEI**, its **group siblings (with their CINs)**, **website, LinkedIn, employee count, headquarters**, country, and source — India + global.

### Input

```json
{ "companies": [ { "name": "Reliance Industries", "domain": "ril.com" }, "Infosys", "State Bank of India" ] }
```

- `name` (required), `domain` / `linkedin` / `email_domains` (optional hints — verified on the web, not trusted blindly)
- `enrich` (bool): exact LinkedIn data via harvestapi (paid add-on)
- `fast` (bool): faster/cheaper, lower accuracy

### Output (per company)

official\_name · id · id\_type (CIN/LLPIN/FCRN/LEI/FOREIGN\_REG/NONE) · lei · country · website · linkedin · employees · hq\_city · hq\_country · siblings · confidence (VERIFIED/NAME-ONLY) · is\_real · source\_url · notes

### How it stays accurate (zero-wrong)

Google reverse-validation of every CIN + GLEIF cross-check + 2-source gate. Unsure → blank/NAME-ONLY, never a wrong guess. Registered name is never left blank.

# Actor input Schema

## `companies` (type: `array`):

List of companies to resolve. Each item: {"name": required, "domain": optional, "linkedin": optional, "email\_domains": optional, "master\_id": optional}. Plain strings (just the name) also accepted.

## `pasteRows` (type: `string`):

Just COPY rows from your sheet and paste here. Tab or comma separated. First line can be a header (name/company/alias, domain, linkedin, email). Or one company name per line.

## `sheetUrl` (type: `string`):

Public Google-Sheet CSV link or any CSV URL — the whole sheet is read automatically.

## `gleif_verify` (type: `boolean`):

DEFAULT (this OFF + Full OFF) = ⚡ FAST mode (cheapest, CIN digits approximate). Turn ON = 🟡 BALANCED (most CIN/LEI registry-verified, FREE).

## `deep_verify` (type: `boolean`):

ON = 🔴 FULL mode (every CIN Google reverse-validated, EXACT digits; slowest+costliest). OFF = use Fast/Balanced above.

## `enrich` (type: `boolean`):

Add exact LinkedIn URL + employee count + followers + HQ + industry + logo via harvestapi (extra cost). Off = website/linkedin/employees/HQ come free-but-approx from the resolver.

## `chunkSize` (type: `integer`):

Companies per internal batch.

## `parallelChunks` (type: `integer`):

How many 100-row chunks to process at once (more = faster). 3 recommended.
