## What's an Apify Actor?

Actors are web data automations that power AI and operations. They run on the Apify platform to scrape websites, process data, connect APIs, and automate workflows.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.
Actors are written with capital "A".

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.
The best way to integrate Actors is as follows.

- **AI agents and MCP clients** — the [Apify MCP server](https://docs.apify.com/integrations/mcp.md) at `https://mcp.apify.com` (remote, streamable HTTP, OAuth on first use).
- **Agentic workflows and local Actor development** — [Agent Skills](https://apify.com/.well-known/agent-skills/index.json) with the [Apify CLI](https://docs.apify.com/cli/docs.md): `npm install -g apify-cli`, then `apify login`.
- **JavaScript/TypeScript projects** — the official [JS/TS client](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md): `npm install apify-client`.
- **Python projects** — the official [Python client](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md): `pip install apify-client`.
- **Any other language** — the [REST API](https://docs.apify.com/api/v2.md).

For usage examples, see the [API](#api) section below.

# README

## French Company Enrichment 🇫🇷 — SIREN, Officers & Socials

Turn a **website URL, company name, SIREN or SIRET** into a complete French company dossier: legal identity (SIREN/SIRET), activity (NAF), headcount, **officers**, address and status — plus **LinkedIn and social profiles** — with a confidence score.

Powered by the **official French registry** (`recherche-entreprises.api.gouv.fr`) — free, no API key, no headless browser.

### Why this one

- 🇫🇷 **Four ways in**: URL, company name, SIREN, or SIRET.
- 🔗 **Socials included** (URL mode): LinkedIn, X, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, GitHub, Crunchbase...
- 🛡️ **Ownership-aware**: avoids the classic traps (host's SIRET in the legal notice, agency's SIRET in the footer, brand ≠ legal entity) with a scored, verified match.
- 🆓 Official registry, **no key**, no proxy, fast.

### Input

```json
{ "url": "https://www.batiweb.com" }
```

or `{ "name": "Qonto", "codePostal": "75002" }` · `{ "siren": "819489626" }` · `{ "siret": "81948962600028" }`

| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| `url` | Website to enrich (best input — returns dossier **and** socials) |
| `name` | Company name search (up to 5 candidates) |
| `siren` / `siret` | Direct registry lookup |
| `codePostal` | Disambiguate a name search |
| `maxPages` | Pages to crawl in URL mode (default 12) |
| `useSerper` / `serperApiKey` | Optional web-search fallback |

### Output (one row per company)

`denomination`, `siren`, `siret`, `naf_code`, `naf_label`, `tranche_effectifs`, `date_creation`, `etat_administratif`, `adresse`, `code_postal`, `commune`, `dirigeants`, `linkedin`, `twitter`, `instagram`, ... `verif_confidence`.

### Notes

- Direct SIREN/SIRET/name lookups return the legal dossier (no socials — no site crawled).
- URL mode crawls the site to also collect social links; use a lower `maxPages` for speed.
- Not affiliated with any French government service.

# Actor input Schema

## `url` (type: `string`):

Company website to enrich. Best input: returns the legal dossier AND social profiles (crawled from the site). Example: https://www.batiweb.com

## `name` (type: `string`):

Company name to search in the French registry (returns up to 5 candidates). Use codePostal to disambiguate.

## `siren` (type: `string`):

Direct lookup by SIREN. Returns the legal dossier (no socials).

## `siret` (type: `string`):

Direct lookup by SIRET. Returns the legal dossier (no socials).

## `codePostal` (type: `string`):

Optional postal code to disambiguate a company-name search.

## `maxPages` (type: `integer`):

Pages to crawl on the website (URL mode) to find socials + legal info. Lower = faster.

## `useSerper` (type: `boolean`):

When the site alone is inconclusive, use a Serper web search to help resolve the company. Requires serperApiKey.

## `serperApiKey` (type: `string`):

Optional. Your serper.dev key, only used when useSerper is on.

## Actor input object example

```json
{
  "url": "https://www.batiweb.com",
  "maxPages": 12,
  "useSerper": false
}
```

You can run this Actor programmatically using our API. Below are code examples in JavaScript, Python, and CLI, as well as the OpenAPI specification and MCP server setup.

## JavaScript example

```javascript
import { ApifyClient } from 'apify-client';
// Initialize the ApifyClient with your Apify API token
// Replace the '<YOUR_API_TOKEN>' with your token
const client = new ApifyClient({
    token: '<YOUR_API_TOKEN>',
});
// Prepare Actor input
const input = {
    "url": "https://www.batiweb.com"
};
// Run the Actor and wait for it to finish
const run = await client.actor("excellence_scraping/french-company-enrichment").call(input);
// Fetch and print Actor results from the run's dataset (if any)
console.log('Results from dataset');
console.log(`💾 Check your data here: https://console.apify.com/storage/datasets/${run.defaultDatasetId}`);
const { items } = await client.dataset(run.defaultDatasetId).listItems();
items.forEach((item) => {
    console.dir(item);
});
