## Google Play App Search & Reviews Scraper

Search Google Play for apps by keyword, or provide package IDs/URLs directly, and scrape their reviews — rating, review text, author, thumbs-up count, developer replies, and app version at time of review.

### Use cases

**App feedback mining** — Search Google Play by keyword or pass package IDs directly, and get reviews with rating, text, author, thumbs-up count, and the app version at time of review. That version field is what lets you tie a spike in complaints to the release that caused it.

**Developer-response auditing** — Developer replies come back with the reviews, so you can measure what share of negative feedback actually got answered, and how the reply rate changes over time.

**Competitor research** — Keyword search surfaces which apps rank for a term; pulling their reviews shows what their users are unhappy about, which is usually a more honest feature roadmap than any public one.

**Release-quality tracking** — Thumbs-up counts rank reviews by how many other users endorsed the complaint, separating a single frustrated user from a widespread regression.
