## Zumper Apartment Scraper — Selenium Edition (Apify Actor)

Scrapes Zumper.com rental listings

Fields are raw strings as Zumper renders them — `price` includes the `$`
and `–` separator; `beds`/`baths` include the unit suffix. Parse downstream
if you need numerics.

# Actor input Schema

## `location` (type: `string`):

City + state (e.g. 'San Francisco, CA', 'Austin, TX') or a Zumper URL slug starting with '/' (e.g. '/manhattan-ny-apartments'). The actor builds the Zumper URL automatically from City, State.

## `maxResults` (type: `integer`):

Cap on stored listings (1–200). The Selenium scraper extracts what's visible on the search page after scrolling.

## `scrollSteps` (type: `integer`):

How many page-height scrolls to trigger lazy-loaded listings. 4 gets ~50 listings on most cities; bump to 6-8 for denser markets like NYC/SF.

## `headless` (type: `boolean`):

Run Chrome without a visible window. SeleniumBase UC mode + Xvfb means this still uses a real Chrome process (not --headless flag, which fingerprint-detectors flag). Leave true.

## `proxyConfiguration` (type: `object`):

Apify Residential US proxies recommended. Zumper occasionally throws Cloudflare challenges from datacenter IPs even with a stealth browser.
