## Package Registry Intelligence — npm, PyPI, crates & more 📦

**One tool over six software package registries — npm, PyPI, crates.io, RubyGems, NuGet and Packagist. Look up a list of packages or search an ecosystem, and get every package in ONE unified schema: version, license, repository, maintainer, downloads and dependency count. No API key.**

Most software depends on packages from a handful of registries. This Actor speaks all the big public ones and normalizes them into a single schema — so you can enrich a dependency list, audit a supply chain, or research a whole ecosystem regardless of language.

### Notes

- **No API key.** Uses each registry's public API.
- **Downloads** semantics differ by registry: npm reports **last-month** installs; crates/RubyGems/NuGet/Packagist report **total** downloads; PyPI's main API exposes no download count (`downloads` is null). The `downloads_period` field tells you which.
- **PyPI has no search API**, so search mode supports the other five ecosystems.
- Package metadata belongs to its authors and is subject to each package's license.
