Yes, You Can Build Something On Making Others Happy

People pass away every day for a wide variety of reasons. But the sign of our mortality really comes into full view when, back to back, the individuals that make the list are people of great significance.
At the tail end of August, we’ve lost some stellar icons. First we lost what I would argue is the perfect example of rich-person philanthropy out there and an all-around wonderful woman.
The second we lost an actor whom I and so many others grew up with.
And the third was much of the same, an actor voicing some iconic characters that we grew up with and empathized with so well.
Their legacies continue to live on through other people, like with the passing of a relative or close friend, but these people’s legacies are a little different.
Obviously, these individuals of great significance can be felt in all kinds of places, as Dolly Parton and Tim Curry were strong voices for the LGBT+ community, especially for trans people. But what all three of these individuals have in common with their legacies is a theme that we don’t really see that often.
