Student Developer Pack verification keeps getting rejected despite official academic document

Hi everyone,

Hello,

I would like to request a manual review of my GitHub Student Developer Pack application.

My application has already been rejected 5 times with generic automated reasons, even though I am submitting an official academic document.

I am currently a PhD student at a Ukrainian university.

The document I submitted is an official certificate generated from the Unified State Electronic Database on Education (ЄДЕБО), which is the official education database in Ukraine.

The certificate clearly contains:

• my full name;
• my university's full name;
• my current academic status;
• the issue date;
• my education level.

I have also updated my GitHub profile and billing information so that my first and last name exactly match my academic document.

However, every application is rejected with the same automated response.

Could you please manually review my application instead of relying on the automatic verification?

If additional documentation is required, I will gladly provide it.

Unfortunately, the application form only allows uploading a single image, which makes it impossible to include both the original Ukrainian document and an English translation in one submission while keeping all text readable.

Unfortunately, community members can't manually review or approve Student Developer Pack applications. If your application continues to be rejected with the same automated response, your best option is to contact GitHub Education Support and explain that you've received multiple automated rejections despite providing an official proof of enrollment. Mention that your document is issued by the Unified State Electronic Database on Education (ЄДЕБО) and that the upload form only accepts a single image, making it difficult to include both the original document and its English translation.

Thanks for the clarification.

In that case, it sounds like the current verification process is entirely dependent on the automated system, which makes situations like yours especially difficult when legitimate documents are repeatedly rejected.

I hope GitHub considers improving the process for official documents issued in different languages or allowing additional supporting documents when the automated verification cannot confidently validate them. That would likely help many students in similar situations.
