Yale lockset and yale zwave module fail to report change in door open/close and bolt lock/unlock state

Hi,
I have noticed that few of the yale lockset and modules work great with the exisiting zwavejsui while few are pain to operate.
I have noted that there are zwavejs ui, does not get updated with the current status the door lock when operated manually. For some reason, refreshing node, reinterviewing dont help either.
Do you guys know why do we have such a hard time to fully integrate yale locksets and yale zwave modules into the ui? Is it because some of these command classes and features aren't supported by zwave js ui? Or because the yale lockset have firmware bugs and that yale isn't bothered to solve them?

Please make a driver log showing the issue, loglevel debug and attach it here as a file (drag & drop into the text field).

Well, I will soon but I have noted in a few cases that manual control for the devices shows no logs on the zwavejs ui. I am yet to check using a sniffer but once I get it I will post it here. Also, could you confirm if any yale and assa abloy lockset and module type can be added? That would be very helpful of you.

All lock related functionality is supported in Z-Wave JS. If you see nothing in driver logs on loglevel debug, either the device isn't sending anything or the connection is bad, leading the commands not being picked up.

Hi @AlCalzone I have received the lockset at my location and tested it. The zwave region is India and controller and locket are 30 cms apart. Attached observations and logs for reference.

I notice that the Product Code is unknown as shown in the UI.

I have also checked in the zwave alliance website https://products.z-wavealliance.org/?_zwa_category=locks&_zwa_brand=yale&_zwa_region=in&_per_page=120

For region India and brand yale, I see two door locks with the same design but they have different MID, PID, PTID.

I am also attaching pics and a video of the door lock that shows no response on the sniffer logs while trying to control manually.

I also tried adding this lockset to a third party gateway that probably doesnt run zwavejs(since they support for IR devices) that too never updated state for manual control, only when using the app to send control command.
I wanted to attach video but the file size is around 100MB. Let me know if the information is sufficient or anything else is needed.

Also, Tested using my silabs 700 series dev kit with PC controller, devices adds but fails to send data over manual control. The only thing pending for me if to factory reset the entire lockset and try again. Though I am not confident if this resolves my issue.

Honestly, I think your only real option is to contact manufacturer support. If I understood correctly, you see the same behavior on 3 different hubs, and in Zniffer - no reports on manual control. That means the device isn't sending anything.

@AlCalzone Thanks for the update. I hope I am not missing any configurations/associations on the lock after pairing it. Can you please confirm this?

The lifeline association in you screenshot above should normally be enough.
