8 Things That Suck Ass Outside The U.S.
The United States isn’t great at everything. But at times it sure beats the alternative.
The United States is not the greatest country in the world.
Honestly, I’m not sure what country is, or if one country can claim such a crown. It is home to amazing people, ways of life, and if you want to do something, eat something, or find something, chances are it’s in the States. But there’s still plenty of downsides. Downsides that are very public, well documented, and we don’t need to get into here, because this isn’t that kind of an article.
I’ve lived outside the U.S. for five years now, mostly in South America, though I spent a healthy chunk in Europe as well. I’ve enjoyed (most of) my time outside of my home country and, frankly, if it wasn’t for family, friends, and college sports, my visits back home would be fewer and fewer. And yet, with all of that said, there are certain things that I will fully admit suck ass outside of the United States. And not good ass either. We’re talking these things suck sweaty swamp ass. Often, it really doesn’t matter where I am on planet Earth, because the quality of these items outside the States is so poor that a U.S. homeless shelter would reject their donation.
