TL;DR this is simply an ‘all in one’ guide to where to find some of the rarer Exotics and Named Items in Division 2.

Background

I see a question or a variation of it come up all the time. It goes something like “where can I farm the Lexington?” or “I’m trying to run the Master Manhunt mission to get the Whiplash”

It gets old re-typing the same thing over and over or going back to find an answer that was given months ago to copy/paste it. Therefore I decided to simply put everything in one place so I can just link to it.

In the footnotes at the bottom are lists of what’s a “DZ only Named Item” or a “Seasonal Named Item”.

Let’s dive in.

Rarer Items and how to get them

‘Extra Special Named Items’ (TM)

This is my own invented term. I have no idea what Ubisoft calls them. I have also seen Ubisoft misclassify items such as the Handbasket and lump it into this group during The Storm Event.

Lexington, Turmoil, and the Stack Broker were originally rewarded to players for simply logging in during a certain time. Caretaker was rewarded for logging in and answering calls for backup during a certain time.

They are now only available from special caches like Stretch Caches, Winter Event Caches, Cherry Blossom Caches, Storm Event Caches, etc. This class includes the Lexington, Turmoil, Caretaker, and Stack Broker.

‘Extra Special Named Items’ (TM) do not have Blueprints and cannot be crafted.

Hunter Named Items

Available from special caches like Stretch Caches, Cherry Blossom Caches, etc. However if you don’t kill at least one Hunter in Brooklyn before landing The Huntsman from an event cache, for example, then the Blueprint will not be for sale. Ask me how I know. You can find a guide on Google though, put your world on Normal, and just plough through these Open World Hunters anytime. Upon killing them all you get the Named Item and the Blueprint for it. You also get some pretty cool looking masks.

  • DC Hunters: Shield Splinterer AR w/ Perfect Optimist
  • Manhattan Hunters: Hunter-Killer Vest w/ Perfect Intimidate
  • Brooklyn Hunters: Huntsman AR w/ Perfect Frenzy

“DZ only” Named Items

These aren’t really DZ only anymore. They are obtainable from Named Item Caches, the Houndsman Bounty, The Countdown Vendor sells them occasionally, and perhaps most easily via crafting them from their Blueprint. The Blueprints are most easily obtained by running Retaliations and using the resulting resources on Reconstructed Caches. Reconstructed Caches include one Named Item and one Blueprint each, until all Blueprints have been obtained.

A full list of “DZ only” Named Items is in the footnotes.

Seasonal Named Items

Only available from special caches like Stretch Caches, Cherry Blossom Caches, etc. However you can join someone who still has The Houndsman Bounty and farm these anytime [except for First Bloom, Rabid D50, & Lichtenberg as these came out after the bounty]. This class includes useful items like the Quickstep, Chillout Mask, & First Bloom and meme items like Festive Delivery, Oh Carol, The Sleigher, etc.

Seasonal Named Items do not have Blueprints and cannot be crafted.

The complete list is in the footnotes.

Sidenote; I’m HappyCamper84 on PC and I kept ‘The Bounties’. Feel free to shoot me a friend request and if you see me online join me. I help players get the Quickstep, or whatever they’re after, all the time.

Raid, Legendary, Incursion, Descent, Manhunt Exotics

Updated as of Y8S3

Can be crafted after getting the Blueprint from Retaliations. This is by far the quickest and easiest way. Additionally Bighorn, Ravenous, and the Eagle Bearer rarely drop in the normal DZ and drop with a decently high chance from Hunters in the PvE DZ. Of course you can also get them by running Legendary missions or the Summit, the Raids, the Incursion, and buying the Vindicator at the Descent Vendor.

Regulus

Regulus has no crafting Blueprint, only a recalibration one. Therefore it’s only available from special caches like Stretch Caches, Cherry Blossom Caches, etc or by running the Iron Horse Raid 4–6 times to get the pieces needed to craft one. Luckily there’s no RNG here, run Iron Horse enough times and you can craft it guaranteed.

Exotics with a Project

There are a few exotics like the Chatterbox, Gunslinger’s Holster, Ridgeway’s Pride, Nemesis, and Liberty that have projects to craft them. To date their blueprints are NOT obtainable via Retaliation.

Once you get the first one of these it goes in your general loot pool. Therefore if a teammate shares it with you then you can farm it in the future just like any other exotic, no project needed.

Catalyst

This exotic mask only drops from the Army Terminal mission and from Named Elites named Charlie in Brooklyn’s open world map.

To date the Catalyst does not have a Blueprint and cannot be crafted.

Prima Donna

This exotic was added to the Paradise Lost Incursion in mid July 2026. It can drop from the Incursion bosses and from the crate at the end just like Ouroboros.

Currently the Incursion is the only place to obtain this exotic at any time. It has been obtainable from limited time events such as The Red Moon Unleashed one. However if Ubisoft’s past track record holds then the Blueprint to craft it will likely be added to Retaliations eventually.

To date there is no reconfiguration blueprint available for this exotic, so whatever attributes it drops with is what you are stuck with. This may be an oversight and will be fixed later on.

Update; it was an oversight. Ubisoft added a bluepint to recalibrate it in late Sep 2026, but in true Ubisoft fashion said blueprint was actually a crafting blueprint. In other words using it created another exotic gun. Hence until they “patched” this the first week in Oct 2026 one could craft as many additional exotics as they wanted, each with a random third attribute.

Steel & Sons ACR

This exotic drops in the new Incursion Broken Rain that launched 11 Aug 2026.

Currently the Incursion is the only place to obtain this exotic at any time. It has been obtainable from limited time events such as The Red Moon Rising & Red Moon Unleashed ones. However if Ubisoft’s past track record holds then the Blueprint to craft it will likely be added to Retaliations eventually.

Red Moon Rising Event Exotics

Ubisoft did something rather interesting during the Red Moon Rising Event 24 Sep — 3 Nov 2026; they introduced exotics instead of Named Items. It will be interesting to see how these will be farmable after the event. Currently the only way to obtain them is the event.

Yaahl Gear and System Corruption

Perhaps the rarest of all in Division 2. You can get them via drops in the DZ but they are rare. The most System Corruption drops I have seen were from Legacy Season Caches. Sometimes the Clan Vendor or Countdown Vendor sells them. The Hollow Man mask, which is part of the Yaahl Gear, can be crafted from it’s Blueprint you get via Retaliations and it drops with a rather high chance during The Houndsman Bounty.

I also just found out by accident that you can get System Corruption gear from Escalation missions. For example I ran one today where the targeted loot was Gloves and I got a Prototyped pair of System Corruption gloves.
