Ethos
INTRODUCTION
The Blockchain Bandits were founded with a set of core beliefs in mind. This article provides an overview of our purpose, and why we operate the way we do as a team.
BACKGROUND
The founders of Blockchain Bandits (GT3, once.eth), have quite the history trading NFTs.
GT3 has been known to identify projects early and subsequently sweep their floors before price action moons (Coolman’s Universe, Kaijus, Webb 3 Apartments).
Once.eth (me) started actively trading NFTs in January 2021, deploying capital into Nifty Gateway as well as sweeping the floor of Sandbox lands in March 2021. I am also an OG Godjira holder (acquiring two at 1.5e each…current floor:18.5e).
The point of providing our trading history is to show that the team has been around the proverbial NFT block. We’ve minted projects, bought and diamond held projects, and we’ve even bought and had to cut losses on projects (not ashamed!)
We’ve been part of countless communities, some of which flourished, and some which slow-rugged their communities to painful death.
After a year of trading, analyzing and participating in NFT communities, I think I have found the correct formula to build an everlasting NFT project.

GROUND RULES
Blockchain Bandits (now: BCB) operates with a strict constitution in place, outlined below:
- Doxxed Team. Our IRL reputations on the line. Our team consists of 2 founders, 3 devs, 3 artists, and 6 mods. Eight of us are fully flesh-world doxxed (1 founder, 3 devs, 4 mods), and the rest of us are semi-doxxed (online reputations to uphold). No one on the team is a full-anon or behind the scenes.
- No WL Grind. The vibes in the Discord are immaculate. We are free from “GM Bots” and people scrambling to invite 20+ people just to be WL eligible. Those activities bring in a crowd that we do not want in here. We want people who are able to have legitimate conversations about life, and are simply vibing + playing games together to grow the community. We believe that strict and grindy WL requirements are ANTI-COMMUNITY. BCB is a family and we intend to make it feel as such.
- Low Supply. Low supply means a few things: a) higher floor price, b) exclusivity and more tight-knit community.
- Low Mint Price. No, it does not take $50m, $10m, or even $2m to build what we are setting out to build. The BCB mint is priced accordingly to be in line with the forecasted financial model for future plans (<0.1e).
- Long Term Vision. If you guys thought the mint was the only thing we offer as project, you are gravely mistaken. Our roadmap is deep, thorough, and comes from lengthy sessions studying the pros and cons of many tokenomics systems that exist in the current P2E market. Not only that, but our initial emissions token xBANDIT will be useful in various ways.
These are the five rules we set out to maintain as a team during the ideation of this project, which are also a huge part of our overall ethos.
