As CUNY SPS closes out our celebration of Black History Month this February, we are delighted to showcase this photo essay from our students and staff who traveled down to Washington, DC, on February 21 to visit Smithsonian’s National Museum of African American History and Culture.

Co-organized by CUNY SPS’ Office of Student Life, SEEK Program, and the Urban Male Scholars Program, the one-day trip provided nearly 40 students (and some staff) with a chance to collectively explore the acclaimed museum and learn more about the stories, artifacts, and people who have helped shape African American history, life, and culture.
