Musical Cables — A Quick Guide to Tellurium Q Speaker Cables
When it comes to achieving the best possible sound out of your HiFi, every element counts. You simply can’t get the most out of your expensive amplifiers, DACs, music servers and speakers without investing in quality mains cables, power supplies and of course, speaker cables. British cable manufacturer Tellurium Q are committed to achieving the most musical audiophile cables possible, endlessly working to better their existing product range.
Here are some of speaker cables to look out for:
Tellurium Q Black II
The original incarnation of black speaker cables was a resounding success, yet Tellurium Q felt that they could do better. Looking closely at the minute details of Tellurium Q black loudspeaker cables, Managing Director Geoff Merrigan and his team worked hard to better the original design in as many ways as possible, resulting in the Black II speaker cable. The result is a quality of sound that even an untrained ear can pick out — there are no obvious flaws to these cables and the sound is natural, yet detailed.

Priced at £108.00 for a pair of speakers, other cables within the same price bracket struggle to compete on any level.
Tellurium Q Silver II
Whilst Black II speaker cables are all about generating a neutral, natural sound, Tellurium Q Silver Diamond cables are designed to promote detail. Whilst highly detailed sound can lead to a certain harshness, this isn’t the case with Tellurium Q Silver II at all, making them the perfect cables for lovers of detail; these cables allow for you to pick out every element of the music you are listening to.
Tellurium Q Silver Diamond
Further up the price scale are Silver Diamond speaker cables, retailing from £2,687.40 with sound quality to match, they are comfortably in the high end of the premier league of cables. The increased quality is evident in the build of the product and the materials used. While Black cables give amazing sound on a relatively low budget, Silver Diamond speaker cables change the rules of the game all together.
Tellurium Q Statement
The newest range of speakers from Tellurium Q is what you would call a reviewer’s nightmare. It was practically impossible to pick fault with many of the earlier released cables, but Statement speaker cables manage to take things to another level still. With more analogue, more detail, more compatibility, more richness, more warmth and more natural sound, Tellurium Q Statement loudspeakers are more in every way.
