The Eras Tour

2 min readJun 1, 2026

I watched "The End of an Era" on Disney+... It’s a documentary series about Taylor Swift’s The Eras Tour.

I think it was very real. The ups and downs. The disappointments and the joys.

First of all, I don’t intend to convey any message in this post. I wanted to state this because not everything in this documentary is suitable for everyone.

I recommend this documentary so that you can see what goes on behind the scenes of that seemingly glamorous life. In the background, there is years of hard work, a great deal of pain, and what I can only describe as superhuman strength exerted to avoid disappointing others (the fans) despite that pain.

As the final episode ended, I got goosebumps. Such intense effort, nearly 150 concerts, performing in front of millions of people...

Stage performance is by no means an easy thing. It requires serious effort. It demands a serious memory, self-confidence, not worrying about little things (like going on stage while your hand is injured and bleeding), and being aware that those few hours spent on stage will leave a fairy-tale taste in the lives of many people...

I am not a Taylor Swift fan; I didn’t really listen to her music. I wasn’t even aware of The Eras Tour. I watched it on Disney+, thinking I would just check it out for five minutes and turn it off, but I ended up watching it until the very end. In other words, it really kept me hooked.

Valuing others, making an effort for it, and the happiness of those who were aware of this value were very important to me.

There will be things in a concert or a documentary that do not align with your views on life, just like in everything else. Don’t get hung up on them. Try to see the beauty.
