You talk so seriously like you expect these religious folks to actually be logical. Christianity is all about death, so why do they shun Halloween so much? There is nothing logical in their reasoning, there is nothing logical about trying to avoid a place called ‘hell’ and there is nothing logical about their faith and belief. My grandmother has apparently spent her whole life believing in god, living a virtuous life, and is looking forward to being reunited with my grandfather in heaven. Except she’s still so terrified of death. You can’t try to reason it out and explain to them why none of it makes any sense.
