Let’s be honest.

Most creators think they understand how money works on Facebook.

They don’t.

And that misunderstanding is exactly why so many people get views… but not paid.

1. “Do I actually get paid per view?”

Short answer: No.

Long answer:
You get paid for qualified views — not all views.

That means:

  • Not the same person watching multiple times
  • Not people who scroll past in 1–2 seconds
  • Not content that violates policies

So yes, you might see 100,000 views.

But only a fraction of those actually make you money.

That’s the part nobody tells you.

There is also no fixed rate per view or like.

Your earnings depend on:

  • How long people watch
  • How original your content is
  • How people interact with it

2. What kind of content actually makes money?
