La Tour’s Famous “Kobe French Dip” sandwich.

I remember my first experience at La Tour Cafe, I ordered a French Dip sandwich & took two bites before I skipped to dessert. After my first encounter with their heavenly Vanilla macaroons, I’ve never been able to walk out their doors without a bag full of their deliciousness.

I’m not qualified to write a review about their French Dip sandwich, since I gave it to a friend, but he did love every bite. I will go into detail about their Vanilla macaroons, which I lovingly refer as little dessert gems which fit perfectly into the palm of my hand; don’t let their tiny size fool you, one bite & you’ll be begging for more. La Tour Cafe’s macarons are two little cakes held together by a sinfully rich & creamy center, these treats makes me feel like I’m falling head over heels in love with dessert.

I’ve also had the pleasure of devouring their Margherita flatbread pizza, which consists of fresh Mozzarella, oven roasted tomatoes, a hearty helping of basil & lemon zest. I’m a big fan of this classic pizza; the ingredients are simple, but the lemon zest enhances the flavors from every bite.

If you’re looking to satisfy your macaroon cravings & avoid afternoon rush hour traffic, I recommend a visit to La Tour Cafe; you’ve been warned, it’s hard to eat just one macaroon.
