Sweet Lychee Answers Your Comments About Blogging
First of all, I want to say, “THANK YOU” for checking out my blog and taking the time to leave a comment.
The past few months, I’ve received an increased amount of comments which revolve around blogging. I decided to write address your top 5 popular blogging questions:
1. How long have you been blogging?
On Tuesday (6.10.14), I’ll celebrate my 4 year blog anniversary.
I’m really excited about my upcoming blog anniversary, I never thought I’d continue blogging after my Blogger account disappeared.
2. Is there a team behind Sweet Lychee’s blog?
Sweet Lychee is a one woman show. I create and write all of the content, take all of the photographs (unless otherwise mentioned with a photo courtesy), and manage the social networks.
3. Which platform do you recommend for bloggers?
Initially, when I first started blogging, I chose Blogspot which evolved into Blogger. Unfortunately, after experiencing countless headaches from issues trying to renew my domain, the entire website became spam. I’m still in mourning over the whole ordeal because I was an active member of the Blogger community for over 3 years.

Today, I feel much more confident and secure using WordPress. Although, I’m still becoming familiar with this platform, I’m much happier and would highly recommend this platform for bloggers.
4. Did you create this website yourself?
My website is a FREE WordPress theme. I’m extremely grateful because I have zero experience with coding and graphic design.
5. Do you have any advice for aspiring bloggers?
Please understand blogging requires persistence and tons of behind the scenes effort. Honestly, there’s been numerous occasions, I wanted to quit, but I’m glad I stuck with it.
My second piece of advice: be authentic. Personally, I believe when you’re comfortable with yourself, whether it’s blogging or relationships, you’ll attract the right people who will find you and stay.
Also try don’t measure your blogging success by the number of hits your website receives. Continue doing a kick ass job and one day you’ll be surprised by the increase in visitors.
I wish you the best of luck with your future blog adventures!
XOXO,
Sweet Lychee
