21 Days, 1 Experiment — Day 1
The start. No more planning. Just doing.
Today was intentionally simple. No overloading, no chasing perfection — just one clear goal:
Drink 2 liters of water.
💧 How it actually went
I started the day with intention. I began drinking water in the morning, thinking I was setting the tone right.
But by 5 PM, I had only reached 0.75 liters.
That was a reality check.
Not because the goal was difficult, but because it exposed how easily I can go through hours on autopilot. It’s not that I avoided drinking water — I just didn’t stay conscious about it.
The rest of the day became a bit of a catch-up game. I did complete the 2-liter goal, but it wasn’t smooth. It felt rushed and slightly forced — which is exactly what I want to avoid going forward.
🧠 What I learned
This isn’t really about water.
It’s about consistency throughout the day.
If I delay, I compensate. And that’s not discipline — that’s reacting at the last moment. The goal here is to build something that feels natural and sustainable, not something I rush to finish at night.

So the focus now shifts to:
- Spacing intake across the day
- Staying aware without overthinking
- Making it part of my rhythm
⚙️ Adjustment going forward
Same goal. Better execution.
No more bunching everything into the evening. I need to distribute the habit, not just complete it.
➕ Day 2 Habit
Starting tomorrow, I’m adding the second habit:
Write a 1-sentence journal every day.
Something simple. Just one sentence — no pressure to write more, no overthinking. The goal is to build the habit of reflecting, even if it’s minimal.
📌 Closing thought
Day 1 wasn’t perfect — but it was real.
I showed up, I completed the goal, and I caught the flaw in my approach early.
That’s enough for a start.
