Final Alvida
Chalo, bye.
I don’t think I can fake it anymore.
I can’t keep acting like this doesn’t matter to me,
like I don’t care,
like seeing you move on so easily didn’t hurt.
It did.
It still does.
Probably more than I’ll ever admit to you.
I just never thought you’d be like this.
I never thought you’d move on this fast,
like everything between us could just disappear
without even a proper ending.
And the worst part is,
I didn’t even get to say what I wanted to say.
I didn’t get to tell you everything I was carrying.
You just left,
and somehow I’m supposed to be okay with an ending
I never even got to be a part of.
Anyways.
I don’t wish anything bad for you.
I really don’t.
I’m happy for you both, even if saying that hurts more than I can explain.
I just hope I never see you again.
And maybe that’s okay,
because I know that’s probably what you always wanted anyway.
I just wish it wasn’t all fake.
That’s honestly all I wanted.
Even if you didn’t love me the way I thought you did,
even if none of it meant as much to you as it meant to me,
I just wish some part of it had been real.

Because it was real to me.
And that’s what hurts the most.
You’ll still be a special one to me, somehow.
I hate that you will be.
After everything.
After the way you treated me,
after the way you left,
after making me feel like I was so easy to forget.
I’ll still remember you.
Not because you deserve to be remembered,
but because I can’t erase what you meant to me
just because you chose to become a stranger.
So yeah, bye.
Bye to the rudest, coldest,
and probably the worst person I’ve ever known.
And still, somehow,
one of the people who meant the most to me.
I wish you nothing but happiness.
I just wish I could’ve been given a little more honesty
before you walked away.
That’s it.
Bye.
