A Humorous War Poem for Medium By Professor Asad

Twinkle, twinkle, little missile, Flying past the nuclear whistle. USA says, “We’re keeping peace!” Iran says, “Then make wars cease!”

Up above the world so high, Drones and rockets paint the sky. Leaders tweet from comfy chairs, While poor folks run down the stairs.

Twinkle, twinkle, satellite, Who’s the villain here tonight? One side says, “Our cause is right!” Both sides launch fireworks at night.

Oil prices climb up to Mars, Politicians count their stars. Petrol costs an arm and leg, While we eat rice without an egg!

Twinkle, twinkle, little bomb, Please go back to where you're from. We need peace, not flames and smoke, And cheaper fuel would be no joke!

The generals shout, the leaders roar, Then shake hands behind the door. But ordinary people pay the bill, While powerful folks enjoy the thrill.

So twinkle softly, little star, Please don't become a shooting star. Let children sleep and families dine, And leave the fireworks for New Year's time!

The stars shine for free, but peace seems to be the most expensive thing on Earth. 🌍✨
