I hate sleeping pills
I hate it. I hate the feeling. I saw him collapse almost lifeless. Felt he has left me forever. And that I would never be able to talk to him again in this life.
When we fight we hardly realise the one angrier is the one who needs the most support or may be both are battling their own sets of fights. I still don’t know!
But I know how it ends. In a sudden gust of anger you forget how much you love or how much you are loved. And you might grasp a packet of sleeping pills to sleep peacefully.
Well, before anyone thinks of consoling me, let me tell you the story isn’t mine. But the trauma surely is.
I hate sleeping pills. It makes me revisit the place which I have pushed hard in my mind. The feeling of losing it all.
Not sure whether I have suppressed it or is it breathing with me. But it has haunted me a lot. The one consuming it would never feel it as closely as the one on the other side.
My lines might not make sense, today. But I just realised I had these memories from few years back nakedly haunting me.
He was saved and is fine. But I could never master the courage to talk to him about it. Because I would breakdown everytimr. I know. Even now, when I pen these feelings down, my eyes aren’t in my command.
