Finding Confidence on Blue Runs This Winter

Last winter, I decided to take it slow. I started early in the morning when slopes were less crowded, practiced wide carving turns, and kept my weight forward over my boots. Having reliable outerwear made a huge difference — my Capelin ski jacket breathed well on uphill walks and blocked cold wind during quick descents.

If you’re nervous to level‑up this season, don’t rush. Pick quiet times, master one turn shape at a time, and trust your gear. Small, consistent runs build far more confidence than one scary long descent.
