Visualization
In today’s world it’s truly hard to know what a decisions consequences are, too many factors to even guess. We walk through life scared of taking the action necessary or taking the action and later realizing it was a huge mistake. The one things we are blessed with as humans is an imagination, one that can mimic reality almost to perfection if you practice with it.

Visualization or imagination is a great tool only we humans (at least to my knowledge) can exercise. It’s a way to play out scenarios before they even happen and although it may not be entirely accurate, I believe if we really want to, we can understand an outcome by visualizing all the possible consequences of an action, better equipping us with the necessary knowledge to move forward or choose a different path. Visualization is often talked about when associated with manifesting things into existence and although that is something I oblige to, I think more fundamentally, it’s preparing your mind and teaching you how things might go, which can let you know a number of different things that will either pull you towards it or away from it, meaning you can see what truly interests your mind.
Ultimately taking real action is still the best tool for knowing if something is a good decision or not but sometimes we don’t have the time or privilege to learn the hard way and start from scratch and so even if it’s not entirely accurate you can visualize your situation and determine if this is a path for you without taking on unnecessary risks. Being young this is less of a worry, experiencing life, failing and choosing wrong paths are part of it but if your able to better direct yourself to make the most rational decisions, I don’t see the hurt in it. So I challenge you to close your eyes and imagine the path your heading towards, do you like that person? Do you like what he/she does? Does their environment attract you or run you away? Answer these questions honestly and it may give you enough information to know if it should become a reality or not.
