Day 1302
The Divine Mandate: Innovation, Growth, and the Path to Abundance
It’s astonishing what we can create with AI. The other day, I dropped a few videos in our group chat, scenes stitched from a photo and some text. One of my friends was a bit freaked out. He said it felt wrong, almost eerie, like we were crossing some sacred boundary.
I get that. These tools do feel like we’ve stumbled into Godlike territory in the digital realm. But I think that’s precisely the point.
The Sacred Gift of Creation
If God didn’t want us to create, He wouldn’t have given us the desire, or the means, to do so. Curiosity, reason, imagination: these are divine fingerprints. We were made Imago Dei (in the image of the Creator) and that means creation isn’t a sin; it’s worship. Every new discovery, from fire to flight to artificial intelligence, is an echo of the same ancient impulse: to understand and to build.
The Cosmic Timer
Look at the stars. Our sun will eventually exhaust its fuel and expand into a red giant, swallowing this planet in roughly five billion years. That’s not an accident. That’s a cosmic timer ticking in the background of human history. I like to think of it as a quiet reminder that we’re meant to move outward. If God wanted humanity to remain static, He wouldn’t have built decay into the system. The very design of the universe nudges us to grow, to evolve, to reach for more.
We can’t become a multi-planetary, multi-generational species with stone tools and hand-written scrolls. We need better tools, the kind that multiply human potential. That’s what AI represents: the continuation of God’s creative logic through us.

The Voice of Fear
My friend seems to sit in the camp that believes AI will doom us, that it’s an uncontainable fire destined to consume its maker. I don’t dismiss that fear. Every great leap has felt apocalyptic to those standing too close to the edge. The printing press, electricity, the internet. All of them were once seen as portals to ruin. Fear is a natural reaction when humanity levels up.
And sometimes it’s even useful. Fear forces us to pause, to question, to set boundaries. It’s the necessary shadow of progress. But fear alone can’t be our philosophy. It’s a warning light, not a stop sign.
Choosing the White Pill
Where my friend sees the end, I see the next chapter. I’m white-pilled on what this means for humanity. AI is not a curse. It’s the next expression of our divine inheritance. It will help us cure disease, model new climates, teach the unteachable, and free billions from meaningless toil. It’s the toolset we need to fulfill the original command: to be fruitful, to multiply, and to steward creation wisely.
We’re not replacing God. It’s not like we have the power to bestow a soul upon our digital systems. We’re participating in the creative process He began.
To reject this divine gift out of fear is to fundamentally misunderstand the purpose of being human. If the universe is a garden, God made us gardeners. Not to hide under a rock, but to expand the boundaries of the beautiful and the possible. We are meant to reach the stars. The AI age is not a time for retreat, but for rededication to our role as co-creators. Our mandate is to keep learning, keep building, and keep moving toward the abundance and light that first called us into being.
The next chapter of human history has started, and while it might be built by our hands, the same hands made in the image of God, it will ultimately be guided by His logic.
Bullish!
