$$$ Let’s Get Poor
I’m not one to complain, but I’m getting tired of being a poor creator. Every service you ‘need’ as a creator costs money. And when you’re making pennies, it drains the savings like water through fingers.
I also hate asking for money or for help. Some call it pride, I call it not wanting to bother people because I know everyone has it tough. I enjoy helping, not asking for it.
I’m a writer. I purchased ProWritingAid and Autocrit to help me edit my books. That was a nice chunk of money to those two programs. But I can’t write without them. I mean, I can, but you wouldn’t want to read it.
Then I need to buy cover art, character art, and edits.
Not to mention the website upkeep that I’m still building. Why is that so hard to build?
I have subscriptions for Canva, Streamyard, and a couple more that I can’t think of right now. Both of the programs mentioned are going up in price. They aren’t adding anything new, much, but they are still hiking up the prices.

So I’ve spent hours in the past two days testing out new streaming/recording programs. What have I found? Patience. My brain doesn’t pick up on tutorials as quickly as it once did. Me and online things should try to get along better.
Ok, I know. In all seriousness, they are about all the same. Some are cheaper than others, but they all do the same things. One might have a few more pretties to use over the other, looking at you Streamlabs. One doesn’t allow for multiple hosts, looking at you OBS — unless I missed it.
My eyes feel like they’re about to bleed from checking these things.
I’m saying all this, to say this… I’ll have a video up. Sometime this week. If you would like to check out my other videos, go here. Want to help me out with some of these bills? Go here and thank you.
I’ll be surprised if the above link stays.
Other than creator things, I’ve noticed an uptick in just about everything. Groceries… I’m not even going to list the rest or go there. Not really. I’m not going to blame our politicians either.
Why?
It’s greed. All greed. And all will jump in those rich back pockets if they can. We need change. Desperately. We need a few my age to go in there and set things right. I think we’ll get it done well, and safe, quick, too. We’re supposed to be back home before the streetlights come on, anyways.
Help out where you can. Vote right. And don’t think the rest of us humans are less than. Ever.
