Stop Code Loss in AI‑Driven JBoss‑to‑Spring Boot Migrations with Legacy Migration Toolkit

Migrating large JBoss (Java EE) applications to Spring Boot has become much more feasible with AI‑powered coding tools like Cursor and GitHub Copilot. Yet, these agents often make one critical mistake — code loss.

Missing classes, altered annotations, or truncated methods quietly creep in, forcing developers to comb through hundreds of files by hand.

That’s why I built the Legacy Migration Toolkit — a Python‑based assistant that works hand‑in‑hand with developers and their AI agents to detect and recover missing logic during enterprise migrations.

🚧 The Core Problem

Even the best AI agents can’t guarantee a perfect migration:

👉 Classes get renamed or omitted — entire implementations may silently disappear.
👉 Method signatures or bodies are partially changed, leaving missing logic or return mismatches.
👉 EJBs don’t always map accurately to Spring components, causing runtime behavior drift.
👉 Annotations drift or disappear, breaking dependency injection or transaction flows.

Developers then shoulder the time‑consuming task of manual verification. Legacy Migration Toolkit automates that entire audit process and generates precise recovery prompts for your agents.
