Oh thats deadly. I personally have issues with extremely biased literalisms either scientifically, religiously,psychologically, philosophically. We are a bit too variable, individually, neurologically, genetically, to get to a single grand idea of everything.

While some fields in science are inclined towards weird hyper reductionism in self selected manner. Not all fields are identical in that fashion. I prefer geology its grounded and REALITY or TOE Theory Of Everything , as terms is never used and other fields in science and they function very well in understanding this fairly clearly. So i supose it depends on the various fields and the make up of the participants. Its very spectral like anything.
