Building an End-to-End .NET Event Pipeline: Service Bus → Multiple Subscribers → Kafka → Downstream Systems

Imagine an upstream Order Platform continuously producing events:

OrderCreated
OrderCancelled
PaymentCompleted
InventoryReserved
CustomerUpdated

The middle system needs to receive those messages, decide what type of event it is, and publish it to the appropriate Kafka topic.

Downstream applications then consume only the Kafka topics they care about.

At a high level:

hm. forgive if question is dumb but - if deduplication ends up in db, db can get such load. if such, why do we need all that complexity before? middle/kafka/etc. lets middle push to db and workers proceed, no?
