Right track
Okay, hello, welcome to today’s blog post.
I’m going to keep it short and sweet. Basically, I’ve had a really productive 24 hours. It’s almost 2 AM, and I’m still awake, logging my journal entry for Sunday. I’ve been working since I woke up — washing the car, going to church, doing laundry, working around the house, watching a bit of a series and YouTube, and listening to motivational stuff while getting things done.
Almost everything I would normally procrastinate on, I’ve just acted on. When I couldn’t sleep, instead of forcing it, I got up and started tidying the kitchen. I ended up cleaning the washroom, mopping, sweeping, and basically touching almost every part of the house. I still have some laundry to finish, and I’ll tighten up the living room before doing some deeper decluttering later in the morning.
I’m going to try to sleep, but if I can’t, I’ll wake up and complete the specific task I’m supposed to do in the morning. I’m also putting some Lucozade in the fridge so I can get a bit of energy when I wake up, because it’s obvious I’m not getting a full night’s sleep.

I feel like working out right now, but I think I’ll get a better workout later in the evening. So I’ll count Sunday’s workout as missed. If I do it now, I won’t be able to work out that same body part on Tuesday, which is my next workout for chest and abs.
I haven’t fully planned the next day, but mentally, I know exactly what needs to be done.
I was also going to go to the DVLA, but I’ll skip that. It’s not as urgent as I thought, so I can confidently postpone it. That’s not procrastinating; it’s prioritizing.
I have some important things to get done, and there’ll be pressure from the office, so I’ll focus on Monday and Tuesday. If I put my head down and finish what I need to, I should be free by Wednesday to bring the other things back on board.
I’m going to try to get some sleep now. If sleep doesn’t come, I’ll wake up and work.
See you in the next post.
