Yahoo Email Priority notifications — more forced annoyances

Yeah, it is yahoo. AGAIN!!!
And for this one, I’ve been putting off writing because of OTHER HIGHER personal priority tasks to do. But after doing the article posting on Yahoo mobile email Dynamic AI action icons, I decided to also do this article.

  • save time and turn on notifications for high-priority messages only.

EVERY FEW days, I see this pain in the ass message (on smart phones only):

I-DO-NOT-WANT-TO-SEE-THIS-CRAP…!!!!!!

My on/off toggle switch for notifications / high-priority messages are already turned off.

But yahoo is FORCING this on us, instead of respecting what WE WANT!

  • HEY USER, USE OUR NOTIFICATIONS FOR HIGH PRIORITY MESSAGES ONLY…..

That annoying message continues to annoyingly pop up….!!!

If anyone has a handle on how to PERMANENTLY stop it from frequently appearing — let me know. Besides moving on to another email application, which I have already been considering.

And I have been considering switching ever since yahoo stopped showing us how large (in MBs) each of our email directories currently are. So WE can make pro-active actions and delete stuff in advance, instance of:

  • getting caught in the “oh, your emails are getting too large, we need you to pay for more space“…

When instead, if we had a way (like we used to) to see which folders had the largest files/attachments, we can make our weaning measures and delete stuff from the offending folder. And decrease our email storage space footprint WITHOUT paying for more unnecessary space/storage…
