After Kevin Cramer voted to increase the deficit by $1.5 trillion and raise taxes on the middle class, congressional candidate Ben Hanson released the following statement:
“With his vote today, Kevin Cramer sold out our state. The ag producers and educators who help make up the middle class will see their taxes raised. The homebuilders and college graduates who drive our economy forward will see their taxes raised. The seniors and folks who struggle with opioid addiction will see massive cuts to Medicare and Medicaid. This bill is bad for the working class, it’s bad for the middle class, it’s bad for rural communities and it’s bad for North Dakota.”
