this has nothing to do with my topic :) but maybe a bit? most of us are scared of spiders, but spiders are very cute and kind. they need you to protect them, so please do not hurt them :(

Let me yap for a little bit. Context: I’m just gonna keep talking about how much I love blunt people + I type whatever in my mind so do not expect a structured-flow. If this is not for you, do not read this :)

I always reflect on this right after each interaction with another person. I deserve someone who tells me exactly what the truth is. My instinct tells me that every person I meet is not telling me exactly what is happening. Since they desire to be liked, they avoid telling you the important negative feedback. I feel like they are controlling, or trying to sugarcoat their words so they do not make me feel bad. But feeling bad is still a feeling. I hope everyone realises, and accepts that. It does not have to be positive always. For me, I do not want to hear the lie, either way. The truth hurts, but the truth helps us to learn and adjust. You always have the choice: you can either argue, learn, or move on. Sometimes I see in their eyes that they are withholding the truth. I can feel the uneasiness, or awkwardness. That is also the reason why I prefer blunt people. Them being outspoken or forthright might be rude to others, but for me, it is something I need. “Rude” is not the right term for them, because rude means they have the intention to hurt, and disrespect you. On the other hand, blunt people are direct, honest, and often helpful in our lives. It is actually them who are being respectful because they have the courage to tell you the truth. These people are what I need in my circle. I feel comfortable with them. I think they deserve an award for giving us the most difficult truths in our lives. People who speak out are very rare. I know for sure that others find them irritating because they do not filter their mouths when talking, or it often leads to conflict because it makes most people uncomfortable. But that is just them. They do not have to control themselves just to match what is your liking. I have had enough of quiet folks who backstab you whenever you are not around. Acting kind when they need shit, but talking shit behind your back at the same time. Their deception sickens me. And lying? What benefit does lying lead us to? It erodes trust. Like when I once caught them lying; I do not know anymore if they are being genuine or manipulative the next time. People who speak their minds, even when it is uncomfortable, are often the most loyal because they do not have a hidden agenda. They are investing in a relationship where they can be their genuine selves, and that is what I want. I often acknowledge those who give me difficult feedback. You may not like blunt people, but they are indeed worth protecting, and appreciating.
