VRChat: My VRChat Self
Today, I feel like talking a little bit about myself!

To live in VRChat, you absolutely need an avatar, right? The avatars I usually use are Hakka-chan (©mio3io) and Izul-chan (©bikiTadpole)!
Meeting Hakka-chan
At first, I couldn’t upload my own avatars yet, so I used a sample version of Hakka-chan that someone told me about! I was so excited, just waiting for my user rank to go up.
Once my user rank was high enough to upload avatars, I bought the full version of Hakka-chan on Booth! I loved her so much that there was absolutely no hesitation!
My First Customization Challenge
Hakka-chan’s original design is mostly light blue, but my favorite color is a reddish-pink! (Maybe like a cherry blossom pink, or a bit more on the red side? It might even have a hint of orange? lol)

So, I challenged myself to customize her hair and outfit to a reddish color scheme! My first attempt at modification was pretty tough, but it was also a lot of fun to figure things out as I went.
For a while after that, I had fun adding different accessories like earrings and bracelets! My absolute favorite was a ribbon, and I’ve been wearing one ever since!
Leveling Up: Changing Outfit Colors in VRChat
Eventually, I started thinking it would be great to change my outfit’s color based on my mood or the atmosphere of the world I was in. So, I worked hard to set up a system where I could change the color of my clothes right from the VRChat menu!
Being able to change colors depending on how I feel gives me so much freedom! It’s incredibly fun, so I recommend everyone give it a try! …But I have to admit, setting it all up is a real pain. 💦
And Then, I Met Izul-chan
And then, just the other day, I saw on Twitter that a remake of Izul-chan was for sale. She was so incredibly cute, I just couldn’t resist buying her!!!
Izul-chan is just sooooo adorable~~
Of course, I customized her hair to my favorite reddish color! And let me tell you, I just can’t stop taking pictures of her! lol

Right now, when I have some free time, I’m working on dressing Izul-chan in some of Hakka-chan’s outfits and adding more color variations. ♪♫
From now on, I’m going to enjoy VRChat with both Hakka-chan and Izul-chan!!
