Note on the Order of Nature

2 min readOct 3, 2026

Whenever I look at nature, I find myself thinking about my own life too.

I watch water flow, trees grow, seasons change, and living things appear and disappear. The more I watch, the more I feel that there is a certain order in all of this. I call it the order of nature.

That order is not only in the nature I can see around me.

Day turns into night. The seasons return. Things are born, they change, and they disappear. When I think about this, I feel that the order of nature is connected to something larger — the order of the universe we are part of.

A tree, flowing water, the wind in the air — each one shows a small part of that larger order.

And I am part of it too.

I was born into this world. I change, I live with others, and I am always connected to what is around me. I am not separate from nature.

So when I look at nature, I am not only looking outside myself. I also begin to see something about my own life.

I look at the earth, water, air, and fire, and I pay attention to how they exist, how they relate to one another, and how they move.

Then I bring what I see back to my own life.

I ask myself how I am connected to the order of this world, and how I can live more naturally within its flow.

Little by little, I begin to learn from the way the earth, water, air, and fire live.

For me, looking at nature is a way of understanding the world I belong to. It is also a way of understanding myself as part of that world.

In a way, it is like looking into a small universe within me.

And from there, I learn how to live — not only by thinking, but by living and experiencing it for myself.

I’ve been writing these thoughts down while working on my illustrations. They aren’t conclusions. They’re just thoughts that have slowly been emerging through drawing, observing, and living.
