Great article, Matt. I remember during the COVID shutdowns I took a free (or maybe $19.95, I don't recall) workshop on writing children's books for Kindle. This was pre-AI prevalence. He used Fiverr for illustrators who would work for flat fees and give up their rights. He was cranking out simple children's book series on Kindle. He was leaning in to the automatic purchase of the next book and selling them pretty cheap. His plots were all borrowed from other picture books. I can imagine that AI would make that process 10 minutes instead of the two hours he was spending. I never did the same thing, but it was interesting to see how he was making it work for him.
