Reality Notes: On “Dark” Psychology
Sometimes I read articles on certain “tricks” from the realm of dark psychology. While the articles are clearly entertaining, well written and based on real-world experience, the awakened person asks: Why?
To the awakened individual, it’s Maya in its purest form. A web of endless interconnected events where everyone tries to “get the most of it.” It may be confusing, what I’m writing here, but stay with me.
Society tells me: “I constantly need to be on guard”. The world of adult people seems like a “dangerous playground.” Manipulators, liars, micro-aggressions, constant people-reading, so you know you are not being played. Let me say this to you: living a life like that seems exhausting.
Awakened people have a different angle on this. Their reality is in fact completely different. Awakened people cannot be manipulated. But instead of developing contempt toward the “attackers”, they develop empathy. They genuinely can feel sorry for the people using tactics like that. They ask themselves: what is the root cause of the behaviour of those people?
Awakened people know: micro-aggression is the effect of deep-seated, unresolved anger. Manipulation tactics arise from anxiety. Anyone who is confident in his/her skills, looks, etc. cannot use manipulation tactics. Manipulation arises from inner confusion and uncertainty. I know, I’m just speaking from my own experience. And it’s hard to feel empathy toward someone who betrayed us.
