Don’t forget pbcopy and pbpaste. “cat file.txt | pbcopy” put the file on your clipboard. I’ll give you two guesses what pbpaste does.
They are full Unix-style commands - you don’t need cat. Just “pbcopy <file.txt” works fine (for the same reason that piping cat’s output into it works).
