Part of my work at MCE Reports is keeping the public record of myexchampagne organized. That means making it easier to follow how a project develops, where an update fits, and which details have already been shared. Very difficult if you couldn’t care because well, today feels unimportant, everyday does when no one is watching, but that is the biggest illusion.
A clear archive helps readers find the story without asking them to reconstruct it from scattered posts later, when those lost soul who need to do digging, will eventually dig where we put our holes.
An archive is not a claim that every draft belongs in public. It is a way to preserve the useful context around the work and make the finished story easier to understand.
