Business owners are leaning towards technological products, such as cloud computing, social media marketing, etc. Which is now necessary due to government regulations in some countries. Data on usage of cloud accounting among small business owners over the years:

In 2022 The global accounting services market was $628.4 billion which is projected to reach $1.5 trillion by 2032, with a CAGR growing of 9.2% from 2023 to 2032.

Statista (2016): 64.4% of small business owners are using accounting software. This indicates a significant increase in using cloud accounting software by business owners.

But the question remains, is this helping business owners any good? Let’s find out:

  • (2019) OnPay survey: 41% of small business owners and managers handle accounting and finance themselves, which suggests that the majority of small businesses rely on external accountants or other means to manage their finances.
