I've used Paste in the Past and several others like it. Various difficulties from time to time, including cost. I was , therefore, ecstatic when I learned from one of your "Medium" colleagues that Apple has added the simplest function to its OS. There was a shortcut provided in the article that I've since forgotten, but the function is found by using Cmd-Space Bar, then putting the cursor in the search field. A sub-window opens to the right with four options. The one furthest to the right (#4 in their structure) opens a window with your history of saves going back way far. Hope this helps.
