Muslims are quite funny, because they’ll say the Bible is corrupted but look for tiny supposed clues who do not point to their Quran and say, Muhammed Muhammed!!. Firstly if you say it’s corrupted which is not how do you know which one isn’t,or you’ll go with the one that favours you?.

Introduction

In modern interfaith dialogue, a popular polemical argument frequently surfaced by Islamic

apologists asserts that Jesus predicted the coming of Muhammad in the Gospel of John. This claim relies heavily on a linguistic theory surrounding the Greek word used by Jesus in John 14,15, and 16,word is parakletos. Muslim Apologists argue that this word was either intentionally mistranslated by

Christians or that it originally read as a completely different Greek word, periklytos (meaning

'celebrated' or 'praiseworthy’), which they align with the Arabic name Ahmad or Muhammad.

Which it’s not btw.

Parakletos vs. Periklytos

The cornerstone of the Islamic argument is the assertion that the original text of the Gospels did

not use parakletos, but rather periklytos. This claim is built entirely on pure speculation and is

completely divorced from historical reality due to several fatal flaws:

But their is Absolute Lack of Manuscript Evidence,There are currently over 5,300 partial or complete

ancient Greek manuscripts of the New Testament, some dating back to the 2nd and 3rd

centuries (such as Papyrus 66 and Papyrus 75). Across thousands of manuscripts spread

over different centuries and continents, not a single manuscript has ever been found

containing the word periklytos. Every single ancient document reads parakletos.

The assertion that parakletos is an ambiguous or

'untranslatable' mystery word is entirely false. In Koine Greek, parakletos is a standard,

well-documented legal term. It literally means 'one called alongside to help’,an advocate,

defense attorney, comforter, or legal counselor. Ancient secular writers, Greek legal texts, and

early Christian authors translated it precisely into Latin as advocatus.

Now let’s look at the differences between the holy spirit and Muhammed.

John 14:26 'But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit,
whom the Father will send...
Jesus explicitly defines the identity. so Jesus didn’t say an Arabian man is coming preaching another thing he said the holy spirit.
It is a spirit, not a mortal man. and definitely not an Arabian man.

John 14:16 '...that he may be with you forever.' Human prophets live and die.

Muhammad died in 632 AD. The

Spirit remains perpetually.

John 14:17 'The world cannot accept him,

because it neither sees him nor

knows him.'

The Advocate is invisible.

Muhammad was a highly visible

historical person seen by

thousands.

John 14:17 '...for he lives with you and will be in

you.'

The Advocate dwells inside the

physical bodies of believers. No

human man can do this.

Then we have to now say the timeline,if Islam wants to claim it’s Muhammed which it’s not then other religions can claim it’s theirs too.

the timeline of Jesus' promise completely invalidates the

600-year gap between Jesus and the birth of Islam. Jesus spoke directly to his eleven immediate

disciples and gave them immediate constraints,

In John 14:17, Jesus tells the disciples present in the room, 'You know him, for he lives with you.'

If the parakletos were Muhammad, this statement would be factually incorrect, as Muhammad

would not be born for another six centuries. Furthermore, before his Ascension in Acts 1:4–5,

Jesus explicitly instructed his disciples not to leave Jerusalem, but to wait for the promise of the

Father, stating, 'in a few days you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit.' This promise was historically and visibly fulfilled a mere ten days later on the Day of Pentecost

(Acts 2), where the Holy Spirit fell upon the waiting disciples. To claim the Advocate is Muhammad

requires believing Jesus commanded his first-century disciples to wait in Jerusalem for 600 years,

a historical absurdity.

Crucially, when Jesus references the Spirit directly using the Greek word pneuma (which is

grammatically neuter), the pronouns shift to the neuter form (John 14:17). Jesus uses these

specific grammatical shifts to denote a divine, spiritual entity, not a human figure.

Just like humans uses he to identify their gods, when they know it’s neutar,no gender .
