Truth is the Ultimate.

Regarding chasing..

2 min readOct 14, 2026

Everything should come to you, you cannot be the chaser.

That brings a question, how does something come to you. Instead of you trying to reach out to it. Let’s take an example. Let’s say you want to be confident. Most people appraoch this like I’ll do yoga, I’ll do some excercises daily and so on… all these are treating the branches of the tree so to speak than to root of the tree.

If a player says, If I win, I’ll be confident. If I lose, I lose my confidence. This is a flaw in the system. He is relying upon something that he doesn’t have control over.

Everything should be a side-effect. So the actual question is, what understanding that is missing, that the effect of that, is you having confidence? What is preventing you from having confidence? It is the exploration of this question that creates the avenue. It isn’t about how to get confidence, there are no steps that one can give you. It is not about the rain(wins or loses), it is the quality of the umbrella(Your visceral understanding of the problem).

The rain falls, when the conditions are right for it to fall. The Earth doesn’t beg the rain to fall. It just creates an environment that is suitable for the rain to fall. The environment here is the understaning of what is preventing you. When the conditions are correct, rain doesn’t have a choice but to fall. Brings me back to the first statement, everything should come to you, you cannot be the chaser.

Everything should be a side-effect, only then it is permanent and valuable.
