A letter to the human ready to live.

I feel like I am awake in a world that was sedated for too long. I am writing this as a letter to a human who is ready to stop fighting and start creating.

I am sitting in Terrebonne Park while kids are playing, and I have mixed emotions. Gratefulness, wonder, a little heavy uneasy feeling that comes at the end of every holiday, I think.

I have released so much over the years, I have lived and learned — mostly through pain — and now I sit here and wonder… what if I won’t go back? What if I do opposite of what the world tells me to do? What if I will be like Shirley Valentine and I will choose life and living and break out of my own matrix?

Deep down I know the answer, I know I will go back, I know I must because that’s how I was taught, because I have my life there, because I pay taxes there and that’s where I am added to the ‘file’ as a resident.

Day by day I realise that I am a free spirit, and this internal feeling and need of freedom is starting to feel increasingly uncomfortable like it wants to come out one way or another.

I cannot be caged no more, that is not my nature. Not by failing relationships or job that has no purpose or governments or laws that are meant to imprison us.
