What if you could take a single resume and transform it into five completely different portfolio websites just by changing the design prompt?

That’s exactly what I explored in my latest AI experiment.

From futuristic Spatial UI to Liquid Glass, from Terminal-inspired interfaces to Brutalism and Maximalism — each version brings a completely different visual identity to the same underlying content.

And the surprising part? AI helped me bring the entire project to life.

🎨 Five Designs, One Portfolio

Instead of manually designing five websites from scratch, I experimented with different design directions and used AI to turn those ideas into working portfolio experiences.

Here are the five styles:

  • Spatial UI: A modern, immersive interface with a sense of depth.
  • Liquid Glass: Translucent surfaces, layered elements, and a sleek visual aesthetic.
  • Terminal: A developer-inspired interface influenced by command-line environments.
  • Brutalism: Bold typography, raw layouts, and unapologetic visual choices.
  • Maximalism: Expressive visuals, vibrant details, and a design that stands out.

The content stayed the same. The design prompt changed.

The result was five different ways to present the same professional identity.

🤖 The Entire Workflow Was AI-Powered

This experiment wasn’t just about generating a website.

AI helped me take the idea from creation to presentation:

  • Building the portfolio website.
  • Exploring multiple design styles.
  • Creating and refining the visual experience.
  • Producing a video to showcase the results.
  • Preparing content to share the experiment online.

It demonstrates how AI can support more than coding. It can help connect development, design exploration, and content creation into one workflow.

💡 The Real Skill Is Knowing What to Ask

AI is changing how we approach frontend development.

Previously, creating several distinct portfolio designs could mean hours of designing, coding, testing, and refining each version.

Now, a clear description of the desired experience can give you a starting point remarkably quickly.

But the quality of the result still depends on the clarity of your ideas, the prompts you write, and how you refine the output.

The advantage isn’t simply using AI. It’s knowing how to guide it.
