Don’t Get Burnt Out During This Lockdown: Do These 5 Cool Things!
With the peak of summer 2020 just around the bend, we are all anticipating the sometimes unbearable heat that will come with it, along with the humidity. I’m already starting to sweat just thinking about it.
Talk about psychological stress.
Now, check this: 2020 is already not a normal year, what with the pandemic and the lockdown. And with the way the riots have been going in the U.S. and other parts of the world (cue — forget about social distancing), it’s possible that the second wave of COVID-19 is on the way.
So imagine being on lockdown during the heat of Summer, with no pools or waterfalls or resorts to escape to. Pretty daunting isn’t it? What then, can be a solution to such a scenario? You guessed it: Air Conditioning.
Ahh, the sweet, cool air from an air conditioning unit during the lockdown would be just the answer…but those things sometimes break down, don’t they? If they’re not installed properly, they could stop working in an instant. And then you’ll be back to square one in the unbearable and maddening lockdown heat.
Having a Heating & AC service at your disposal will help but there are 5 things you need to consider when choosing one.
- Energy-efficiency
Do they have energy-efficient heating and cooling units at affordable prices? so you can get cooled or heated up while saving money?

It would be preferred that they be the certified dealer for your brand of AC Unit and also offer its maintenance and repair services.
3. Do they have the expertise?
Things like: the number of years they have been in business and their Better Business Bureau rating is a great indicator of this.
4. What are their customer reviews like?
Do you know anyone who has used their services recently? Did they have good things to say? This lets you know right away if you want to hire them or not.
5. Are they flexible?
If your unit dies at midnight, will they be able to fix it in a short space of time? Everyone needs a Heating and AC service that is reliable — especially in this weather.
My hope is that we all stay cool this summer because this heat is no joke!
Take your time and explore all the possibilities. Who knows, maybe you might find a high powered fan on sale that will work just as well as any AC unit. The possibilities are endless! Just ensure that you stay cool.
