The Distance We Create Before Dying
Why Do We Waste Alive Time?
My mother is not highly educated, but I know one thing for sure, she is more thoughtful than the average educated person, perhaps even more than my father.
My mother never judged me for anything, and she never said things that later made me feel bad. In a way, you could say I am very lucky to have a mother like her.
During the days of my accident, my mother took complete care of me. From crying for me to helping me get up and taking me to the toilet, she did everything.
She would sit beside me all night and then stay awake throughout the day as well, as if she had slept peacefully the night before.
Many well wishers used to visit during the day, and my mother would also take full responsibility for serving them tea and water.
But in between all of this, she made sure to take special care of one thing, her mental health.
Because my mother knew that if her mind stayed calm and relaxed, she would be able to manage everything else properly.
