What to Wear During Summer 2026
Spring in the Northeast hasn’t been going as planned. We’ve gone from rainy, cold days to blistering temperatures. I’ve worn scarves and heavy coats in April and short-sleeved shirts in May. As of this writing, the morning temperature was in the high 40s. That’s not something I’d expect in May.
Thank you, Global Warming! Climate Change stikes again.
Just yesterday, the temps were in the 90s. It was beach weather. The day called for tank tops, short shorts, and sandals. Thankfully, it wasn’t humid which is usually the norm in this part of the country. The sky was a bright blue with puffy, white clouds gliding through the air. People were out and about, playing hooky and enjoying the warm Spring day. It was beautiful.
