Places I would travel If I was financially free right now
Kathmandu , Nepal — I discovered about the location like an year before while reading an chapter in my english textbook of class 9th. I don’t particularly remember the name of the chapter and the author but I still remember that the author mentioned about him visiting an Hindu temple and Buddha shrine there and comparing the completely opposite vibes and culture between the two places. It was also an extract from his travelouges and this was the first time when I got to know about the vast range of topics for blogs.
Mumbai , India — I recently got this idea in the back of my brain that I should visit Mumbai. I want to go to the place to explore a completely new culture, languages and I also want to become a part of the grand celebration of Ganpati Visarjan held at Mumbai every year. Living in Punjab and Haryana I have not yet witnesses such a great celebration of Ganpati Visarjan in my life and that me visiting such an event may turn out to be a great experience for me and may help me overcome the fear of traveling alone and help me socialize with people better.
Coorg , Karnatka , India — I read about this place in my chapter of english textbook of class 10 very recently. The name of the Chapter was Glimpses of India and it was the second part of the chapter. I was very attracted to the description of the place and the different theories of the origin of the people there and that how only Coorgis are allowed to keep armed weapons without any license. There’s a south Indian teacher and she made the chapter sound very intresting and hence the place grabbed my attention very easily.
I have many more places in my mind to visit but I am planning of writing them in the part 2 of this blog.
